Support over the Easter Bank Holiday

Find out what support is available over the Easter Bank Holiday

Over the Easter Bank Holiday (Friday 2nd April – Monday 5th April) all our staff and support team will be unavailable.

Our helpline and WhatsApp service will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 1st April until normal service resumes at 9:00am on Tuesday 6th April.

If you’re looking for support during this period, our online groups are a great way to connect with others who are going through the same as you. All the links to our online support are below.

If you are worried about the pausing of shielding, you can find all the latest information here.

If you are worried financially, we have also put together a blog on all the financial support available to blood cancer patients here.

For more information about self-isolation, including help finding financial support, dealing with employers and assistance with the government support, please email advocacy@leukaemiacare.org.uk and a member of our team will get back to you after the Easter break.

Medical advice

If you need any advice on symptoms or medication, call your haematology team. If they’re unavailable, call NHS 111.
