The Board of Trustees for Leukaemia Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Dyer as the new Chief Executive of Leukaemia Care.

Leukaemia Care is a national leukaemia charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by leukaemia receives the right information, advice, and support.

Colin joins the Charity from Special Olympics Great Britain, where he has held the post of Chief Executive since 2022. Prior to leading Special Olympics GB, Colin spent 12 years at national charity WellChild as their CEO.

Chris Matthews-Maxwell, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Leukaemia Care, said:” The Board is delighted to appoint a person of Colin’s extensive and varied experience, who will be joining the Charity at an interesting time of its growth and development.”

Colin Dyer said: I am really looking forward to getting started and working with the team at the Charity to continue the outstanding work already taking place to support those affected by Leukaemia. It is clear that there is the potential for Leukaemia Care to continue to develop its reach, and that everyone connected with the Charity is determined to build on the positive impact we are having for so many people across the country.”

Colin will begin his new role on 2nd April 2024, replacing former CEO Zack Pemberton-Whiteley who took up a new post outside of the Charity in late 2023.
