You may feel a mixture of emotions following a blood cancer diagnosis. We’re here to help you cope with the emotional impact of being diagnosed and living with a blood cancer.

There is no right or wrong way to feel or react to a blood cancer diagnosis because it affects everyone differently. If you’re struggling with your emotions following a diagnosis, there is lots of help available and information on ways to manage your feelings.

For most of us, losing a loved one can be devastating and lonely. Grief is what you will normally experience when somebody you are close to dies and it affects people in different ways.

What is campaigning and advocacy?

As a charity we are actively involved in campaigning on behalf of patients and their carers, which we feel is an important part of the work that we do. We are passionate about doing everything we can to improve the experience of patients throughout their cancer journey.
