Rebrand FAQ - your questions answered

Leukaemia Care news - 02 Feb 2026 - Leukaemia Care

Why has Leukaemia Care rebranded?

We’ve refreshed our look to help more people find the support they need. Our new branding is clearer, more welcoming, more modern and more accessible, but our purpose hasn’t changed. We’re still here for everyone affected by leukaemia.

Why now?

To reach more people. We need our message of care and support to resonate more widely. The clearer and easier to find we are, the more people we can help.

What’s changed?

We’ve launched a new logo, colour palette and identity. You’ll see a refreshed look across our website, information booklets, social media and emails, but the care and support we provide remains the same.

What do the new colours represent?

Blue reflects clarity, calm and trust. Yellow represents the hope we bring through our services. Together, they reflect how we surround people with care.

Why have you moved away from red?

When we surveyed people affected by leukaemia, and the wider public, the response was clear. Red felt like a warning, not a comfort. It’s the colour of danger signs, alerts and alarms. That doesn’t match the reassurance we want people to feel when they turn to us.

Has your name changed?

No, we’re still Leukaemia Care.

Is this just a visual change?

No. We’ve also invested significant time and energy into improving our website, our information and how accessible that support is for everyone who needs it.

Who created the new look?

We were supported in developing the new brand by Catalyst, a Birmingham-based design agency.

Who funded the this work?

The work on everything connected to the website and our new online tools – including some more to come – has been fully funded by a generous trust funder who do not want to be named. Their support meant we could make these changes without using public donations.

Website and accessibility

What’s different about the new website?

It’s easier to use, easier to understand, and puts our leukaemia information front and centre. There’s more content available than ever before, and more still to come.

Is the website more accessible?

Yes. The new site includes built-in tools like Recite Me, allowing users to listen to content, translate it, or change how it looks. We’ve also used clear fonts, more white space and design that reduces cognitive load.

Will more information be added over time?

Yes. We’re continuing to build what we believe will become the largest dedicated leukaemia information hub in the world.

Can I still order printed materials?

Yes. As we restock, you’ll start to receive materials in the new design.

Can I still access pages from the old website?

Yes. Old links will automatically redirect to the right page on the new site.

Who built the new website?

Our website was developed by Pri0r1ty, our delivery partner.

For patients, carers and families

Will the support I receive change?

Not at all. Our services remain exactly the same. This rebrand just helps make that support easier to find and clearer to understand.

Was this developed with patients in mind?

Yes. We carried out consultation to shape the new website, especially around the journeys and information people expect to find.

I’m supporting someone with leukaemia. Is there information for me too?

Yes. We know that when someone is diagnosed, their whole family is affected. That’s why we provide support and information for carers, friends and loved ones too.

How can I get in touch if I need help?

You can call our helpline on 08088 010 444 or email us at support@leukaemiacare.org.uk. We’re here for you, just as we always have been.

For supporters, donors and fundraisers

Do I need to do anything if I’m a donor or fundraiser?

No. If you give or fundraise for us, you don’t need to change anything. But if you’re using our logo or materials, we’d love you to switch to the new versions. Just get in touch if you need anything updated.

Do I need to change my direct debit or standing order?

No. All your existing payment details stay the same.

Can I still donate in the usual ways?

Yes. Our donation platform remains secure and fully operational.

Can I still use older fundraising materials?

Yes, you don’t need to throw anything away. You can continue using what you have. When you need more, we’ll send the new versions.

Should I return old materials to you?

No, there’s no need to send anything back. We’ll update everything gradually, and you’ll see the new branding come through over time.

Are you phasing in the rebrand?

Yes. You might still see some red or older materials for a little while, as we use up existing stock. But everything will gradually switch over.

Staying in touch

Are your contact details changing?

No. Our phone number, email addresses and social media handles are staying the same.

Will your web or email addresses change in the future?

We’ll let you know if anything changes. For now, everything stays the same.

I’ve got more questions. How can I get in touch?

Send us an email on support@leukaemiacare.org.uk and we'll be happy to put you in touch with the right person.
