Grants and trusts
Grants from charitable trusts and foundations play a vital role in our work. Your support helps us be there for people affected by leukaemia, MDS and MPN when they need us most.
How your support helps
Trust and foundation grants have already helped us to:
- Support our UK-wide hospital hub network staffed by our Leukaemia Care navigators
- Fund our helpline and counselling services
- Produce patient information booklets written in plain English
- Run support groups for patients and carers
- Provide financial grants for families in hardship

Working together
We understand that every trust and foundation has its own priorities. Our team will
- Match your funding aims with our projects
- Provide regular updates and reports
- Recognise your support in a way that suits you best
Working with the National Lottery
We are delighted to have received grant funding from National Lottery England in 2024 and 2025 towards our Buddy Support Scheme.
These grants make a huge contribution to funding the outgoings associated with running the programme, including the salary of our Buddy Scheme Coordinator, Shannon Stowe, and various expenses and management costs.
It has enabled us to develop and maintain this crucial peer-to-peer support service, which brings people together to share their experiences and their burden. You can read more about the service here.
We are very grateful to the National Lottery for their support.
