Join #TeamLC for a classic UK trekking challenge and take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks in a single day. This demanding yet rewarding circular route sees you summit Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, starting and finishing in Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

With stunning scenery, strong team spirit and a real sense of achievement, this challenge is a favourite for trekkers looking to push themselves while staying closer to home.

The experience

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge covers approximately 24 miles and includes over 1,400 metres of ascent. You’ll experience a mix of rugged hills, limestone paths and wide-open views across the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

This is a physically demanding one-day challenge, but with mutual support, encouragement and determination, it is an incredibly satisfying achievement to complete.

The route

You’ll summit:

• Pen-y-Ghent (694m / 2,276 ft)
  
• Whernside (736m / 2,415 ft)
  
• Ingleborough (723m / 2,372 ft)
  

All three peaks are completed as part of one continuous circular route, returning to Horton-in-Ribblesdale at the end of the challenge.
