Dalata Hotel Group partnership

We are proud to work in partnership with Dalata Hotel Group, whose commitment to people, compassion and community is helping transform the lives of those affected by leukaemia. Through this partnership, Dalata is supporting Leukaemia Care to deliver vital services for patients and families across the UK.

A partnership with lasting impact

Dalata Hotel Group has renewed its commitment to Leukaemia Care for a further three years, extending the partnership through to 2028.

Since 2022, Dalata’s employees and customers have raised more than £250,000 for Leukaemia Care's work, and more than £750,000 in total for the company's chosen health and wellbeing charities.

Their energy, creativity and compassion have already made an extraordinary difference, and we are delighted that this life-changing work will continue.

Looking ahead to 2028

As part of the renewed partnership, Dalata has set an ambitious new goal to raise over €1 million by 2028.

This powerful commitment will allow Leukaemia Care to continue providing practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by leukaemia across the UK, when they need it most.

Transforming lives through CAR-T and Hospital Navigator support

Thanks to the generosity of the Dalata team and customers in England, Scotland and Wales over the past three years, we have been able to create and deliver our CAR-T Away from Home service.

This programme supports patients undergoing CAR-T therapy, an innovative and often last-chance treatment for blood cancer, by helping to cover the cost of travel and accommodation near specialist hospitals.

And moving forward, the partnership will also support our Hospital Navigator programme, especially important with so many of our Navigators providing direct patient support in towns and cities where Dalata's hotels are located.

The difference made so far

  • More than 200 patients, family members or carers supported through the CAR-T service
  • Over 445 nights of accommodation provided to those patients and their families
  • Heavily discounted hotel stays offered by Dalata hotels
  • Families supported who often travel an average of 100 miles for treatment

“We are thrilled and honoured to be extending our partnership with Dalata for another three years. Their remarkable support has already made a profound difference to families facing the toughest of journeys. This renewed commitment means we can continue to stand by those affected by leukaemia, and we are incredibly grateful on behalf of those people that this partnership has helped to support.”

Hospitality with heart

Dalata’s renewed partnerships reflect a belief that hospitality is about more than service. It is about people, compassion and community.

Through genuine collaboration and employee-led fundraising, Dalata has built strong, meaningful relationships with charities working across Ireland and the UK.

“Hospitality is about people, and that is exactly what social impact is too. Our Difference Makers have not only raised significant funds, but built genuine partnerships with charities doing essential work across Ireland and the UK. We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved and excited about what comes next.”

— Dermot Crowley, CEO of Dalata Hotel Group

Looking to the future

Dalata’s continued support helps Leukaemia Care improve the lives of patients and families living with blood cancer by making it possible for us to be there when it matters most.

As we move into the next stage of this partnership, we are excited to see what the Dalata community will achieve and how many more lives we will be able to touch together.
