We run campaigns throughout the year, and need you to get involved and help raise awareness.

Campaigning & Advocacy

As a charity we are actively involved in campaigning on behalf of patients and their carers, which we feel is an important part of the work that we do. We are passionate about doing everything we can to improve the experience of patients throughout their cancer journey.

BBC Lifeline Appeal with Arlene Phillips

Support Leukaemia Care as they launch their BBC Lifeline appeal, supported by Dame Arlene Phillips who will be sharing her own leukaemia experience as well as sharing stories of people who have used Leukaemia Care’s support services.

Blood Cancer Awareness Month

Malignant Diagnosis, Surely?

Leukaemia Care, as part of a Malignant Diagnosis, Surely? campaign, have launched a petition to insist that NHS England treat myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) as a cancer in everything they do. Standards of Care: Setting a new benchmark for leukaemia support

Leukaemia Care’s new Standards of Care set out 19 agreed benchmarks to ensure every leukaemia patient receives consistent, holistic support — from emotional wellbeing to financial advice. Developed with patients and professionals, these standards aim to close gaps in care and create lasting change across the UK cancer community.

CAR-T Away from Home Service

This project helps provide accommodation and financial support for people currently undergoing CAR-T therapy who are affected by leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
