Living well on active monitoring (watch and wait)

This webinar will aim to explain the principle of active monitoring and the evidence behind it, the benefits of this approach, and discuss strategies for coping while on this management course. We will also cover issues around active monitoring pre- and post- treatment.

19 March 2021

Leukaemia Care is working with Lymphoma Action to host a joint webinar for those living with lymphoma and leukaemia.

Active monitoring can be a difficult concept: receiving a diagnosis of blood cancer yet not starting on treatment can be a challenge. This webinar will aim to explain the principle of active monitoring and the evidence behind it, the benefits of this approach, and discuss strategies for coping while on this management course. We will also cover issues around active monitoring pre- and post- treatment.

We will be joined by Dr Chris Fox, Haematology Consultant, Dr Adam Mead, Consultant Physician and Professor of Haematology, and two individuals living with blood cancer.
