CLL second-line and subsequent treatments

This webinar will update on CLL second-line treatments today and what is on the horizon: how is a therapy chosen, how is prognosis determined and what level of involvement should patients expect in their care decisions.

5 May 2021

Lymphoma Action and Leukaemia Care are back with our next joint webinar. Join us as we chat to the experts about chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and its treatments for those who have relapsed or are refractory.

This webinar will update on CLL second-line treatments today and what is on the horizon: how is a therapy chosen, how is prognosis determined and what level of involvement should patients expect in their care decisions.

We’ll seek to explain the different types of intensive and non-intensive treatments, who can have a particular therapy, how they work, their efficacy and impact on daily living.

We will be joined by:

  • Dr Tahla Munir, Consultant in Clinical Haematology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
    • Dr Munir’s main clinical and research special interests are in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, particularly in the assessment of the mechanism of action of novel targeted therapies.
  • Lianne Palmer, CLL-specific CNS at Oxford University Hospitals.
    • Lianne Palmer is one of just a handful of CLL-specific clinical nurse specialists across the UK.

How do I join the webinar?
