This winter, our appeal is called The Unseen Gift. It’s a reminder that not all gifts come in boxes, or with bows. Some don’t sit under the tree or sparkle in shop windows — but they still change lives.

You help someone who’s just been diagnosed to make sense of terrifying new words.
You help a partner or parent breathe a little easier, knowing there’s a helpline to call.
You help a patient find a friendly face at an online support group, or connect to someone who’s been there through our Buddy Service.
You help someone struggling financially to understand the benefits they are entitled to.
These are the kinds of support that don’t make headlines. But they matter.
They don’t come with wrapping paper or a price tag. But they’re real, and they’re powerful.
They’re unseen, but deeply felt.
At this time of year, we’re surrounded by messages about gifts. The perfect present. The must-have item. But for someone living with leukaemia, what they really need can’t be bought in a shop. They need understanding. Connection. Clarity. And someone to say, “You’re not alone.”
