CNS Nurse Academy

This is our first online portal for Nurses and we’re delighted that the platform has been accredited by the RCN for 10 CPD hours.

This resource can be used for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Written Reflective Accounts for NMC revalidation.

This training is free-of-charge.

This course has been developed with CNS level nurses or nurses aspiring to become haematology CNS’. The content has been written by FastFacts.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • Understanding blood and its components
  • What is leukaemia?
  • Epidemiology, aetiology and risk factors
  • Diagnosis of leukaemia
  • Staging and general management
  • Supportive care for leukaemia patients
  • Emergencies in leukaemia

This programme has been accredited by the RCN Centre for Professional Accreditation for 10 CPD hours until September 2019.

Accreditation applies only to the educational content and not to any product. RCN cannot confirm the competence of any practitioner.

CAR-T Therapy

Our CAR-T course is for nurses (or junior doctors) looking to find out more about this new treatment in the world of haematology.

This resource can be used for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Written Reflective Accounts for NMC revalidation. We estimate that this course will take four hours to complete (one hour per chapter).
