Take the plunge this September by swimming in one of London’s most famous lakes in a one-day open water swimming festival organised by London Marathon Events and staged in the Serpentine, Hyde Park. Choose from the classic one-mile or truly test yourself with two full laps in the two-mile swim.

Charity places in the 2024 Swim Serpentine are now open!

There are two distances to choose from – which one are you going for?

  • 1 mile event (Olympic distance) – Booking fee £20, fundraising goal: £200
  • 2 mile event (136 lengths) – Booking fee £25, fundraising goal: £250
  • Super Six ( swim six miles on this iconic London lake in Hyde Park):

Something to consider? The London Classics Medal:

Have you already taken on the London Marathon and RideLondon? By completing the Swim Serpentine two mile-swim will allow you to claim a London Classic’s medal. You can join the elite club of people who have run, cycled and swam the capital’s most famous mass participation events!
