Our Stoke Haematology Support Group is for anyone who has been affected by a blood cancer diagnosis.

Based at the London Road Bowling Club, a short walk away from Royal Stoke University Hospital it is perfect for anyone in Newcastle-under-Lyme/Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.

2020 meeting dates

5th February – Carol Broadhurst will be talking about the role of Haematology Nurse Practitioner

1st April – A member of the Leukaemia Care Patient Advocacy Team will be talking about ‘Advocacy: how we speak up for patients and how this could help you’. We will also be doing an Easter Quiz and Raffle for Leukaemia Care

3rd June

5th August – Alice Hirst from Anthony Nolan will be talking about Stem Cell Donor Recruitment

7th October – Jeanette Rogers, Ageing Well Project Worker at Age UK, will be delivering a gentle, chair-based exercise class

2nd December – Christmas Meal
