Our Manchester Support Group is based at The Christie Hospital in Manchester and is open to anyone in Manchester and the surrounding areas. The group meets at the Maggie’s Centres from 1pm – 2:30pm on the below dates.

2020 meeting dates

20th January – Anne Crook, Counsellor and Psychotherapist in Psycho-oncology at The Christie, will be talking about psychotherapeutic interventions for cancer patients.

16th March – Expert Patient Programme and Beechwood Cancer Care Centre will be talking about their respective support programmes for physical, emotional and psychological well-being.

18th May – Karen Bonell, Regional Development Manager for Lymphoma Action, will be talking about the work of the charity.

20th July – Jacqui Stringer, co-lead for the complementary therapy team at The Christie, will be talking about Complementary Therapies and Clinical Management of Complex Needs.

21st September – John Moore from CLLSA will be giving an update on the group’s campaigning.
