Our Durham & Darlington Haematology Support Group is for anyone who has been affected by a blood cancer diagnosis. Our meetings are a great way for you to meet someone who is going through or has been through the same journey as you.

27th March – This month we will be joined by guest Speaker Phil Seymour from the Active Life Foundation. All are welcome, so pop along.

The flu jab

Influenza is a common infectious virus. It is often confused with a cold, but influenza, or flu, comes on quicker and makes you feel more unwell. Most healthy people recover from flu after a few days and don’t need to see their GP. However, some complications can arise from flu, such as pneumonia and bronchitis.
