Why should you join Team Leukaemia Care?

Well, why not? By being part of Team LC you’ll get the special treatment you deserve. That’s the least we could do to say thanks for helping us to support people affected by blood cancer.

We’re talking:

  • a team running vest so we can spot you in the crowd
  • regular phone calls and emails to help you through your training and fundraising
  • a friendly closed Facebook group where you can meet and share tips and advice from fellow teammates
  • some of the loudest noise makers on the course
  • a rest area in the beautiful grounds of St James’ Park, a perfect place to meet your friends and family as well as stock up on some post-race goodies.

The TCS London Marathon public ballot

The 2022 public ballot is now closed.

If you managed to bag yourself a ballot place, as a ballot runner, you get to choose who would like to run for. By joining our team, you’ll get all the perks that our gold bond runners get just without the minimum sponsorship – of course, we’d love you to fundraise for us, but anything you raise will be a massive help and will allow us to continue to support those affected by a blood cancer diagnosis.

We do ask that if ballot runners would like to run in an official Leukaemia Care running vest they raise a minimum of £300.

If you’d like to make your ballot place count, all we ask you to do is fill in our quick form so that we can make sure you are getting the same perks as our gold bond runners.
