Providing support to anyone affected by blood cancer
We know that a diagnosis of a blood cancer can be unsettling, frightening and upsetting, whether it is your diagnosis or the diagnosis of somebody you know. Being around others who have been through a similar journey can be invaluable.
Our blood cancer support groups provide help and advice to patients, carers and their families somewhere that is local to you. We co-ordinate and maintain groups up and down the UK, each with dedicated volunteers and a range of carers, patient and family members.
We also list support groups run by other blood cancer charities to ensure you get the best support possible. Their groups are listed below. Please contact them directly if you’d like to attend.
"I have found the group a tremendous support for me. When I was first diagnosed in 2004, I was full of despair and since coming to the group and seeing people who had survived, I was given hope and a realisation that I can win this battle."
Want to set up a group near you? We are always on the look out for opportunities to expand our support groups in new areas. Are you somebody who would like to organise one in your area? Or do you work at a hospital that would be interested in having its own support group?

Nottingham: The Maggies Centre, Gate 3 Nottingham City Hospital Campus, Hucknall Road, Nottingham, NG5 1PH.
