In an effort to develop partnerships in Scotland, Nadine met up with St Mungos Academy to develop fundraising and to raise awareness. The meeting, held in November, went very well.

Leukaemia CARE are extremely grateful to be considered for a £3,000 donation voted for by the students of the academy. The children took a great interest in our charity, and we hope to build on this new relationship and help raise awareness of blood cancer.

Recycling

A lot of fundraising in Scotland has come through recycling. Nadine Bloomfield, our Scotland Development Officer, has been sourcing new sites to place recycling bins, with CV Rags. If you know of anywhere which would be a good venue, call Nadine on 07500068065. Nadine has recently received a cheque from CV Rags for £521 over the past three months; recycling is a big fundraiser in Scotland!
