Leukaemia CARE Scotland exists to provide care and support for patients, carers and families that are affected by a diagnosis of a blood or lymphatic cancer. Our Scotland division helps us work closer to those who need our support across the border.
The incidence and prevalence of blood cancers has increased over the years, and they are now the 5th most common type of cancer in the UK, with official figures suggesting that 26,000 people live with the disease (around 3,000 each year in Scotland).
