  • Kids 2

Fundraising helps children learn to be responsible and care for others and it can also be integrated into the curriculum to make it fun, engaging and educational. We have a variety of fundraising activities for primary school children that are easy, fun, rewarding and simple.

Fundraising events are an excellent way to get children of all ages involved in raising money for charity. Fundraising helps children learn to be responsible and care for others. You can also integrate fundraising into the curriculum.

There are lots of ways to get your class involved in fundraising. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

1.  Guess the number of sweets in the jar - fill a jar with sweets and chocolate, make sure you know how many is in there. Take the sweet jar around and charge a small fee to guess how many is inside. The closest guess wins a prize or the jar of sweets.

2. Non-uniform day - make a contribution to come into school in your own clothes.

3. Treasure hunt - make a map of the school, give each classroom a different name and within each room position a clue. The first one to find the prize, wins! Charge a small amount to enter the hunt.

4. Guess the teddy's name - buy a teddy or have one donated, everyone pays a small fee to enter the competition and then gets to put their name next to the name they think belongs to the teddy. Once all of the names have been bought, you announce the winner.
