Man of the Match Donation

Leukaemia CARE is pleased to announce that they have received a generous donation from Man of the Match, Vikram Solanki. Vikram, player for the Worcestershire County Cricket Club, was successfully named Man of the Match on 5th June in a game against Lancashire. The former Worcestershire caption, and England player, promptly donated the £100 winnings to Leukaemia CARE, a small national charity based in Worcester. Fundraising Team Leader, Helen Whatmore, commented that "This generous donation will go towards helping us support anyone affected by a blood or lymphatic cancer. We would like to thank Vikram for generosity he has shown, and for the support this donation will provide".
