Neutropenia

Having neutropenia means having a low number of neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) in your blood. You are more likely to get infections if you are neutropenic. Here you’ll find information on managing infection if you’re neutropenic.

A low neutrophil count is called neutropenia or immunosuppression. When your neutrophil count is low you are said to be neutropenic.
