When Joe Mayhook was told that his father had leukaemia, and only had 6 months to live, his normal family life quickly began to unravel. Unfortunately, all Joe and his mother had was 3 weeks before Brian Mayhook sadly passed away.

"Then Leukaemia CARE came into my life. They have a totally free 24 hour phone line for people with or living around Leukaemia. If it wasn't for them I don't know how I would of coped. It really helped speaking to someone who understood what I was going through and have the emotional support I needed.
