The best things in life are free

We’ve all heard the saying ‘the best things in life are free’, and we couldn’t agree more! There are so many ways you can make a positive impact without spending a single penny.

After all, it’s not just monetary donations that make a difference to us. From recycling to simply raising awareness, there’s a whole host of ways you can help.

Recycle with us

Save your stamps

Once a letter reaches its recipient, the stamp becomes redundant. Unless, of course, you recycle it with us! We receive £20 a kilo when we donate stamps to be recycled. It might sound like a lot of stamps, but when you think of all the letters that come through your door in a year, you could easily collect enough.

When you’ve collected a good amount, just post them to us via freepost. Not only will you have helped the environment, you’ll have helped blood cancer patients too.

Collect your cartridges

Inkjet printer cartridges are another item many would think they couldn’t recycle. And whilst you may be correct in that you can’t recycle them in your green bin, there are firms out there who can take them off your hands.

If you choose to send them to us, we receive £1 for each cartridge, so donate them to us today!

Muster your mobiles

Most households have a few old mobile phones lying around, stuffed into a draw or tucked back inside their original packaging, waiting for the day they might just become useful again.

Well, today is that day, because your old phones can be recycled with us too! We receive 50% of the market value of any old mobile (up to the value of £70). That means you could donate £70 to us without spending a penny.

Collecting tin hero

Becoming a collecting tin hero costs you nothing but a couple of hours of your time a month.

Just grab a collecting tin or two, head to your local shops, ask to place a tin at their till point, and then collect the tin when it’s full! Each collecting tin can hold around £25 – so you could raise £100 just by taking four of our tins.

Raise awareness

One very simple way to help us is to simply follow us on social media and share or like our posts.

This is a brilliant way to get our message out there, and you could help us reach those affected by blood cancer who haven’t heard of the support we can offer.
