Quick ways to raise a tenner

  • New £10 Note graphic

The very first £10 note was introduced in 1759, and since then there have been five different note designs.

Today, the new note hits the market. To mark this occasion, why not donate your first new £10 note to a good cause? £10 could ensure that a newly diagnosed patient gets the information they need from our booklets or Journey magazine.

So, if you want to get your friends, family and the general public involved, then give our ideas below a go…

Sell our merchandise

We have a whole host of merchandise, and one of the simplest things to sell is our ribbons. These are guaranteed to go like hot cakes, and if you charge £1 a ribbon, you could make £10 in no time!

Just get in touch with us and we’ll happily send them out to you for free.

Help a friend or neighbour

Make your fundraising even more worthwhile by helping out a friend or neighbour with odd jobs and see if they’ll donate the money they’d have paid you to charity instead.

eBay extravaganza

Did you know that you can choose to donate some or all of the proceeds you make on your sold eBay items to charity?

So, why not have that clear out you’ve been thinking about, list your odds and ends on eBay, and look at donating some of the proceeds to charity? That way, you can get a job sorted and know that it’ll be truly worthwhile.

You can find out more by clicking here.

And you can find our eBay store here.

Organise a sweepstake

Football season is back, so why not organise a sweepstake for your team’s match? Get friends and family to bet on who they think will win and you’ll have hit your fundraising target of a tenner before you know it!

Cash in your foreign currency

The summer holidays are over and we bet you have some loose euros or other currency lying around!

A few coins may seem like too little to take to the exchange bureau, so why not post them off to be recycled?

You can get a prepaid box from us. Just click here to find out more.
