September 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of Leukaemia CARE. We are planning to celebrate with a year of events - 40 events for 40 years. And we need your help!
Leukaemia CARE was originally registered in 1969 as The Leukaemia Society by parents whose children were affected by leukaemia. Re-launched as Leukaemia CARE in 1996, it incorporates support, advice and care to anybody affected by a blood cancer. The charity has rapidly expanded thanks to valued fundraisers, volunteers and staff, and we want your support to help us grow even more.
From arranging a sponsored walk, to a dress down day at work, no idea is too wacky or too ambitious to feature in our 40 events. If you are interested and would like to take part in, or organise, one of our 40 events please contact the Leukaemia CARE fundraising team on 0845 521 3456.
